A story, not a readout
Hand a model the line “resonance: 0.60” and ask how it feels, and it says “resonance is high.” That is a weather report about an instrument panel, not a self. So the numbers never reach her as numbers.
The diagram traces the path instead: raw signals (the emotion dials, body-state, recent events, and why each one shifted) go to the primary model, which every eighteen hours or so writes a first-person account in her own voice, then shuffles it into fragments with do-not-copy instructions and injects it as private notes. Ugly on purpose, because tidy prose about herself is exactly what she would parrot back.
The full story, including why the expensive model does this and how continuity depends on it, is in The self she narrates.
